The worse loss in Sean Mcvays career and the worse start to a season in his career (first 0-2 start)

No effort on either side of the ball.

It feels like they peaked too early making the playoffs last year since this is shaping to be the type of year fans were expecting last year.

This year feels like to be the start of the true rebuild with the retirement of AD to effect the defense and a aging Stafford on offense and a injured OL.

It’s the injuries. Can’t operate like they planned at all. Their best run defense was going to be scoring a ton on O taking the run away from the opposition. Alas, the offense is a MASH unit, can’t score, can’t even possess the ball for decent stretches. It is what it is. We will be in a big hole at the bye most likely and even if we get back to full strength, will likely be so far out of it record wise that it won’t matter.

And the vet secondary that was supposed to be the strength of the team is weak sauce so far. Weak ass sauce.

I appreciate what you’re saying but no amount of injuries can explain this total collapse. Do they miss AD? Sure. Was it worth dumping EJ? Back to being gutted….up the middle. How the Rams don’t value MLB and S is a puzzle but this team was not prepared and has no heart. AD chose the right year to say adios.

They value safety. Safeties just played like shit today. Speights at ILB is a no brainer to me at this point.

Wait bro. How can “no amount of injuries” explain what happened? Sure, we all expected to be not only competitive but to handle AZ. Based on what? Having our actual starters in the field. That didn’t happen. Backups sucked. Starters sucked. So I get you there. But the injuries matter. They really matter. No other team is in this position.

The Rams bypassed ILB. But they invested at Safety. The safeties sucked today. j Johnson’s leadership, and he eluded to it after the Lions game, cannot be understated. E Jones was a good ILB. He proved himself out of the Rams financial model. Is what it is. Speights needs to see the field immediately. The Rams need to show they made the right play at ILB. Because the Reeder and R Boom played pretty well in Detroit. The got worked today. Les exclaimed “Omar is on the 48” preseason game 3. Well Les, call Sean and get Omar on the fuckin field. Let’s see if you are right or if we are gonna give up 150+ on the ground every week.

Rant over.

Injuries derailed the 2022 season. Looks like its happening again. Doesn't help that this year's defense looks to be the worse in the McVay era. Our only chance to avoid 0-3 is the any given Sunday thing. And how often does that happen?

No effort.
No heart.
Easy to say, difficult to argue against.
All too common complaints at 0-2 with a 41-10 drubbing.
After wins there's always a lot of effort and heart. :roll2:

I don't think anyone has given up yet but the fat lady is already warming up. It's always injuries. Why is that? Normally that's because of depth lacking. The team really hasn't got back onto solid ground after going all in the the big one. That will take time. That will add depth.
