What is wrong with LA Sportstalk—or maybe it’s just me—there was almost no talk of football outside of a short Mina Kimes visit. I really don’t care to hear about their favorite restaurants, shoe shopping, how skimpy their daughter’s shorts are, who can beat each other up, etc. Absolutely no talk about what was happening on the field except a brief mention of Jonah Jackson being escorted to the locker room—my gut wrenching while they continued the frivolity.

Ha. I was hanging out near them after practice Monday and Scott Kaplan was going on and on about how firm somebody's handshake grip was the entire time i was in earshot.

I had Sirius on yesterday and though they didn't really cover the practice, tons of Rams interviews so that was pretty decent.

Most interesting/newsworthy thing i heard was Demoff said Woodland Hills would take 4 years to be complete. (I think he was talking about the facility not necessarily all the extra mixed use stuff they have planned.)

Yeah I heard the interview with Verse, kept asking for a handshake :roll2: :roll2: :roll2:

At least Farr was there to ask some real questions.

Elvis wrote:Excellent work 34! Just read Jourdan's piece which dovetails nicely with yours.

Did you notice if they tended to stay on one end of the field when they scrimmaged? Monday they did most of the scrimmaging in the south end and i want to plan where to sit when i go tomorrow...
. They started on the opposite end where the radio set is (South??). But they came out of that end zone and worked all the way down to the opposite end (where I ended up). That’s where the Lake PBU on Kupp in the end zone occurred.

I’d you can sit high and in the middle bleachers you should be able to see everything.

Kaplan is a clown, IMO. Mina Kimes is similar to Jourdan. She knows her shit.

A few comments/questions:

—I listened to the ESPN 710 live broadcast; what a waste of humanity.

—JG not accurate deep or outside the numbers, just as I remember him with SF. Fortunately Rams have lots of options to work inside.

—TE’s blocking, Parkinson is a really talented blocker on the move so glad to hear they are utilizing him. He can hold up pass blocking a DE also, something we haven’t had in a long time.

—Good to hear Corum’s quickness translating to NFL. The quickness and acceleration of his lateral cuts is really unique.

—Agent 0 is Byron Young?

—Fingers crossed for Karty…kicking cost us 1-2 games last yr. Are they still kicking through the skinny posts in camp?

—So many Rams fans are down on Hoecht and it’s so unfair. Rams put him in positions he can’t be expected to win, covering WR’s downfield, etc. Would Nick Bosa fare any better?

Yes on Agent 0. lol. Ya. The radio dude at ESPN is useless.

I didn’t see the Jackson injury. Worried about this one. I will say the depth looks greatly improved over years past.

Let's do this Chick Hearn style: Were they driving left to right or right to left across my radio dial?

Left to right as you face the field from the bleachers. I shoulda took iPhone pics. But had a hard enough time tying notes while watching. I have a cool shorthand. Only use #s and positions. Then convert to names. Lmao.

That's how it was for me too, wonder if that's how they do it everyday or if they mix it up to save the field.

In Irvine they had those big camera towers but haven't seen them at LMU, wonder how that affects the video they're able to get...

It’s a vertical shot on the monitors. Not sure where the cameras are.
