Or another proven vet. Havrsik will prove to cost us dearly at some point moving forward (IMHO)

We're gonna be in a tough spot either way as far as the kicker. Shoulda done a better job picking one up in the offseason.

Apparently Mason looked bad in practice, maybe someone else. BUT but
I blame the miss on the new long snapper, his snap was high and it through the whole timing off. The long snapper did better after that viola so did Lucas. Im good with keeping Lucas as the guy as long as we get consistent snaps. If we would bring a vet onto the practice squad I would be down as well just in case, but not Mason.

I heard them say Havrsik wasn't hitting 40 yards in pre-game. That's unacceptable, especially in a borderline Dome like we have. And it's not just the kicking, having Havrsik MAY cause Sean to go for it on 4th downs around the 30 more often. Not a good feeling having little faith in your kicker around Playoff time, especially since we've had Zeurlein and Gay seemingly forever.

Don’t kick anything outside of 30. Just go for it or punt. Will have better field position even if you fail.

I heard that for the Washington game, did they mention that last night too?

it doenst help suddenly having a new long snapper. Lucas missed a 46 but made all his extra points (3) and 3 FG's. Yes they were short, but the last two had good snaps and were right up the middle.

Kicking is one of those magical mysterious black boxes to me. Ok, I understand LS might cause issues with kicking for points. But, if its costing you 3-9 pts a game + field position, can't you find a a free LS out there and make sure you get that positioned nailed?

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I agree. I believe there are a few kickers out there that can do better than 15/20.
