Is St. Louis making the same mistakes as they were in 1995? I mean by making promises before they know they can keep them? they certainly don't know where all they financing is going to come from. From their promises bringing the Rams here caused this current problem for them, are they doing it again?

Appealing to the NFL's ethics also seem like bargaining from weakness to me.

Though i have to say, it's too soon for the jig to be up. There's a 2015 season to be played which most likely means keeping all the balls in the air as long as possible...

He was right. But now that argument is coming back to haunt Mr. Nixon as he peddles the falsehood that a proposed new NFL football stadium along the north riverfront in St. Louis would come with “no new tax burden.”. . .

It certainly seems that way and even worse, I think they're harming their long term chances of having an NFL team.

I mean, they're basically choosing to run off one of the league's wealthiest owners. In retrospect, look at what the Bidwill's have built in Arizona and look what Kroenke plans to build in LA. Why were both of these owners unable to do that in St. Louis? It doesn't take much imagination to think that St. Louis is actually the problem.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ,,,. Look for the common denominator.
They are pulling out all stops to keep the Rams but in the end it likely won't fly for a number of reasons. Most of those reasons are dollars.
