POST #5 We're not going to miss him with E.Jones and Wagner inside. I was never a Reeder fan but I respected his effort. But......as fans we see the warts and accentuate them. The guy played MLB on a Superbowl Champion team. Beyond that, he played MLB on one of the best defenses during the 2020 and 2021 seasons, starting 17 of the 33 games. He registered 91 solo tackles, 5 sacks, 11 TFL, 8 QBH and 2 interceptions. He also had 8 passes defensed. Now I'm not suggesting he was a stud, he wasn't. He missed tackles and lost guys in coverage. But many times and oddly enough some big times, he seemed to be in right place at the right time. Staley knows something. Perhaps he plays the system real well (why he was in the right place at the right time) and maybe an average athlete doing that is a tick better than a great athlete who doesn't. JMHO. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there.
