But I can't stand Kaepernick and RGIII will never make it as a regular starter.

Where CK is built for running, RGIII is not. He routinely gets crushed on routine plays. He isn't built to take a hit and he doesn't know how to take a hit. Everything else about him just doesn't matter.

Honestly, the book is still out on Keenum whereas the book is in on these two so I agree, I'd rather just stick with Keenum if those are the only 3 choices.

I feel the same.

So with that being said, Elvis you can close this thread and conserve space on the interweb. On second thought, I need to look at Moklerman's post again. 8-)

Option D is Keenum and Lynch. No, that would be option A for me now. My preference would have been bringing Bradford back as the top FA but even I'm not sold on him holding up physically. Hopefully for him, he's going to pull a Stafford/Smith and overcome his early career problems but he isn't past that point yet.

Keenum's familiar with the system and personnel so I'm fine with him being a place holder. It would be even better if he became a bona fide starter but I don't think it's realistic to expect that yet. I actually like Lynch as a prospect...as "the" prospect out of this year's bunch, especially one's that will be available to the Rams.

Too bad there isn't a stud WR in this draft but for now, I hope it's Lynch at 15. Not interested in anyone in FA that I can think of.

I'm in this camp, Keenum/Lynch looks like a good and realistic option. Doubt Goff falls and I think pick 1 and 2 are shoe ins for Tunsil and Wentz. As for the WR I don't think there are any potentially great #1's but I think there are probably half a dozen who will go in the 2nd round who could be really really good #2's. Boyd, Doctson (though some are saying he could go in the 1st), Miller, Colman (like Doctson could go in 1st), Sheppard and Cooper. I think Treadwell and Thomas go in the 1st for sure but won't be anything but #2's themselves in the end.

The Rams can win with Keenum. But can they win enough? Man, we're in bad shape if all we got is Keenum, Foles, Mannion and Kap or RGIII. I think I'd look elsewhere for a quarterback. Chase Daniel has no sample size to go on, but unknown is better than known in this case.
