It was a bad/missed call but what i'm wondering, are things really worse now than they used to be? Refs didn't miss calls in the past?

We're more focused on it, like i said, more video, more commentators, social media, the Dean Blandino's of the world but is officiating really the worst it's ever been?

And let's not forget when fans aren't mad about missed calls, like this one, they're complaining about too many penalties ruining the game.

Officiating is imperfect. I don't think there's any getting around that...

I understand your point. Sounds like you guys have not been on the receiving end of it much or maybe the Rams have been able to overcome it.

I suppose that it could be more prevalent to me being that it has happened to the Hawks more often then maybe it's happened to the Rams. The Hawks have not been able to overcome it this year. it's been a real thorn.

But do you guys remember the penalty in Pittsburg against Marsh when he was running past the ref and the ref intentionally bumped into him then flagged his ass? Oh my...
