Chargers only announced they have a "plan". No purchase yet. Only 5 acres, not enough land to have 2 practice fields and a training facility.Big question. Why not use the land they already have in Carson? It was going to be such a great place to build a stadium. They already own 11 acres. Its closer to Inglewood. Now its not even good enough to build a practice facility? Just proves to me they never intended to build anything there, and just like I've always maintained, the time and cost of remediation is too great. (It still pisses me off remediation was never fully looked into by the media. My guess is the contamination is so bad they don't want it to be made public).Spanos and his brood of liars are at it again. How stupid they think everyone else is. They are torching their fan base and reputation. Spanos doesn't have an ounce of honesty in him. At least Mark Davis kept his mouth shut and didn't trash his city or fan base. This is clearly a leverage play by the Chargers. Whatever comes from Chargers you can bet its probably bullshit. by OldSchool 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 1750 Joined: Jun 09 2015 LA Coliseum Pro Bowl Re: Chargers Purchase Land in OC POST #12 I agree Bubba this is just a leverage play from Spanos. I don't think this guy is capable of making a serious move all by himself. by Stranger 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 3213 Joined: Aug 12 2015 Norcal Superstar Re: Chargers Purchase Land in OC POST #13 bubbaramfan wrote:Fred Roggin was all over this story last night.
