Goff is a facilitator, not a shooter. -Brock Huard

That's the perception of the casual viewer of the Rams. I don't think that's too far off, either. This isn't a team that can make a big play when it needs it. It'll cut you to ribbons but it probably won't strike big. Just can't fall behind.

C'mon stalker, keep up. I've posted various times since the game ended.

Do you actually have something to say about what I said or do you want to, like usual, just fixate on me?

That is sure what it feels like with JG. But, they came back against the Bills and Jets. Just not far enough.

I don’t think Goff is great. But he can be good enough.

MCV and the interior OL concern me more.

They need to get better up front.
Goff needs to get better period.

They have 2 games to do that as best they can. MCV has been “scheming” around the OL. And, he has been exposed a few times. He has to take his coaching and play calling to a higher level. Goff and the OL have to take their execution to a higher level. Everywhere else we are good, lol.

Blythe is not good enough. We need a strong center with a QB like Goff. Snead needs to get Goff a quality Center this is a broken record. Infuriating.

Yup....in the big games....y'know, like the SuperBowl coupla years ago, and today when we needed to clinch a Playoff Spot against:

-a listless 0-13 team,
who had to fly back to NY from Seattle last Sunday, and back to the WestCoast for the Rams game,
-AT HOME,
-did I mention the Jets were 0-13???

....anyway, Austin Blythe turns out to be the WEAK LINK in Rams big games IMO!! :idea2: :arrow2: :x

Blythe recently was PFF's 6th ranked center. Not that PFF is the rule of law, but they're ballpark in their rankings. And on top of it you can call a game where the center gets help if you're up against a DT that overmatches him. That was proven by the teams whose OLs handled the Jets DL. It's not because the Jets went up against 13 consecutive all-world centers.

The real issue here is gameplanning, playcalling, and adjustments. How you use the line when it is being attacked.

This whole thing where one loss has people changing the entire roster is just what happens when emotions overturn real analysis.
