1. Alshon Jeffery, WR (94.2)
2015 team: Chicago Bears

Jeffery missed half of the 2015 season sidelined with several injuries, but that did not stop him from leading the Bears in receiving yards by a large margin.

the thing is, a wr needs to see targets if he's going to see yards... alshon saw 94 targets last season despite playing just 9 games... throw out amendola's 2 yards per catch underneath, and the last time a rams wr saw more than 94 targets was 2009, 7 years ago, when avery hauled in 97, ha ha, 97, just 3 more than alshon, and avery played 16 games... can someone pleeeeeeese wake me up when the rams passing game nightmare is over?

I like the hire, bright young mind and I remember him well from UVA. Not overly talented but he was tough as nails and was pretty crafty. I like that in a coach.
I think people get too caught up with titles. Boras is the OC. Like it or not, its his job.
Groh is the WR coach, plain and simple. Sure they upgraded the title to sound fancy "passing game coordinator", but that's his job.
Its not the dream team of offensive football, but that's not going to happen with Fisher.
Fisher is ultimately the OC, Boras will call the plays on a tight leash IMO

I'm afraid you will be hibernating for another season. Despite the Rams hiring a "passing game coordinator", I don't expect much to change. Fisher just doesn't have it in him. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see any evidence that I am.

Very True, however, Groh left Chicago for the additional title of Passing Game Coordinator so right now I would like to believe that Groh will design the passing plays that then the OC Boras will be a liberty to call.

Just add this to the end of your last sentence - "and then Fisher will change to a run"

What I see with the addition of "passing game coordinator" is extra $$$
Working with Gase and Trestman sure sounds good to me.
Here's to hoping the dinosaur opens his mind and lets the young guns have at it with the offense.
Belicheck did give in to Charlie Weis at one point, so maybe that can happen here too

Good point, Hekker's deep game needs a little work...

Fisher may be stubborn but I doubt he is an idiot. He KNOWS the passing game sucks. He also KNOWS that they must score more points to win and that a passing game is paramount to scoring more points. He is looking for a complementary passing game to his projected strong run game and strong D/special teams. He KNOWS he needs an efficient passing game with deep-strike and quick strike, chunk-play creating ability. The personnel, coaches, and scheme - to a degree - are what he and Snead are looking to find. He simply KNOWS this must happen to win and to keep his job. He won't be stubborn enough to accept the status quo and end up 7-9 again. He KNOWS that will likely cost him his job.

Time will tell if he has done enough to fiX the offense, have a winning season, and keep his job. Time will tell if he can turn what he KNOWS into what he DOES.
