What about taking Prescott in the third round. He could even go in later rounds. He was sacked the most of all top tier QB candidates, except Heckenberg, and yet he still had a great TD to INT and comp %. He's bulky enough to take hits. If Manion isn't the answer this may be the guy. And we still get solid 1-3 rounds of picks of other needs.

Stats:
HGHT 6’2” (Ho Hum)
WT 230 (Bulky)
CMP 316
ATT 477
PCT 66% (Nice)
YRD 3793
TD 29
INT 5
SACKS 32 (TD to Int ratio & COMP % damn good for these numbers)
SPEED 4.69
QBR 151

According to Dan Schonka of OURLADS, Wentz is special.

He most likely won't last to #15, and Schefter said 3 QBs will go in the top 10.

If Rams want one of the top 3 guys, they will have to trade up, most likely.

This is an interesting year, with 3 guys going high but none of them a lock to go #1 overall like 2010, 2011, 2012, and last year. 2013 was a really bad year for QBs, and then in 2014 Bortles went #3 overall before Manziel and Teddy went at the bottom of the first round. Carr may turn out to be the best of 2014 going off in the 2nd round. Last year, with Winston and Mariota going top 2 and there wasn't much behind them.

I just hope Snead knows what he's doing. This is a big test for him. If he botches drafting a QB this year, he's a goner.

If the Rams were able to get Carson Wentz the first season after Inglewood/LA was approved, his name would be appropriately ironic ..

Sneads defensive eye seems to have worked out, but offense,, well, it's either his selections or the system / play callers aren't getting it right.

i thought bortles was the best of the group during the draft and still think he has the most upside... the jags jumped from dead last in offensive scoring his rookie season to 12th this season, and they would have probably won quite a few more games if not for their horrible defense (it ranked 28th in offensive points allowed). bortles' numbers weren't spectacular this season, but he did rank 5th in tds per pass attempt % and was tied for 2nd in most td passes thrown... his penchant for throwing downfield a lot, i.e. lower percentage, higher risk, high reward passes, hurt his completion % and pick numbers imo, only 6 qbs booked a higher depth of throw average, but if he can get better at downfield passing, and i don't see any reason why he can't, i think he can become a top tier qb....

I feel the same but as much as I don't like Cook overall, I love his release and delivery. So quick and compact, it's really a thing of beauty. Too bad his decision-making, accuracy and personality don't match that level.

blah blah blah....I cant stop looking at your sig girl.

What were we talking about?

You are late to the game.

Pressure is certainly on. Who Snisher selects at QB will likely determine the fate of their careers. Don't think they don't realize this fact. Don't be suprised to see them go "all in", if needed when they identify their guy.

I won't be surprised if they go all in, but I will be pleasantly surprised if they are successful, based on their past performance with QBs.

At least Snead admitted they are hard to come by.

According to Drew Boylhart of THE HUDDLE REPORT, there are good QB prospects in this draft past the first round. He likes Coker as a sleeper and thinks Prescott has a shot.
