The Rams are playing up the coming home, righting a wrong, L.A. history angle right now but no way they leave out the St. Louis years. Forget about Marshall Faulk? That's never gonna happen.

With Warner and Faulk all over the NFL Network, the St. Louis years aren't going to be ignored...

I get that too. It just feels a bit odd seeing the jump from the way past to the current and not seeing the other guys. It's just me I guess.

^^^ It makes it seem a bit more real to see TGII in town.

ramsman34 is actually dead on in his perception. This is a restoration not a relocation. It creates a strange dynamic. We, the local media spin and the Rams PR department are all connecting the dots right now. Re-energizing the old and new fanbases.
This is not about St Louis right now from a business standpoint. A a long long time LA/StL Rams fan I like it better that they're home but what happened in StLoo's care was incredible but quite often mediocre, mid west, mid road, horrific. There is much to celebrate and much to put in the recycle bin.
I appreciate ramsman's intuition about this but also the good guy in his hockey playing soul.

And like i said, the NFL Network is full of St. Louis greats, they'll be playing to that too soon enough...

And we are seeing a whole lot more of Eric Dickerson theses days!!! My fave until Faulk came along.

And thank you RedAlice for the confirmation that I still have freedom of speech, :) Much appreciated.

For now, this is a celebration for return. It is a very valid celebration. The St Louis years has no place in this right now.

With that said, I have been a Rams fan for over 43 years. not 22 years. I have a closet full of Rams jerseys and they all are St Louis players. I love all my Rams.

I respect your opinion SWA. I have been a fan since 1970 when I was 6. I have LA And STL jerseys and boxes of memorabilia from both locations. I get the celebration in the present. I was simply wondering aloud about the future.

We Rams fans will not let any of the past go forgotten. How could we ever ignore the "Greatest Show on Turf". We all loved that time!! But not one of us true LA Ram fans didn't think about how we wished they did that in LA. It was too soon and too fast. At least for me. But I have not missed a minute of Rams football since they have been on Sunday ticket. Not one. Its loyalty in me. And like when they won the SB, oh so sweet of a moment that was. :)

it does seem to be intentional, and not limited to just excluding footage and print of gsot greats such as warner, faulk, holt, bruce, etc., but also excluding references to the st. louis blue/gold uniforms, for example in this vid all of the footage shows current rams players in throwbacks or rush unis, no footage of the guys in blue/gold... but as elvis points out, there's little doubt that this will all change once the big nostalgic media push is over....

So. As I'm sure is the same for all of you.

I kept visiting StL to see the Rams. I tried to go everywhere, same as I do anywhere I visit.

I have an awesome black and white pic thing of StL. All pics are black and white, except for one. It's the backdrop to my tv.

The ONE not black and white is the RED thing on the StL boat. It was raining and the pic captures a drop, about to fall. when I saw it I said: that is me! That is the LA Rams about to drop!!!!

I was with a bunch of Packer fans for the preseason game v Packers a few years ago.

That drop is now going to be my Christmas card. Fuck Yeah!

That is so before. That is me. Me and my belief in the LA Rams is that drop.

I told everyone who would listen. Was only Packer fans. Somewhere some Packer fans are snickering and membering this annyoing LA Rams fan on their boat years ago .
