We always sat there. As long as the enemy legions aren't amassing it's cool.
It's all about how many Rams fans show up to dominate the entire sidelines.
We used to do our tailgating on the west side. The shadier seats weren't that far. Still any visitors side could experience a different dynamic because of the proximity to the enemy bench.
Even so the sun sucks when it's 90, humid, your beer/wine head is frying and you are staring into the flash.
