I may be off on the name of the defense - it may well have been that 85 game. He was the D Coordinator the whole Robinson regime, IIRC.

What I remember about the 85 playoff game vs Cowboys was Dickerson going for 248 and I recorded the whole thing on Beta!

I was thinking about the playoff victory over the Cowgirls in Texas, I think the score was 14-12. What year was that?

Bob Starr was great, best remember listening to the end of the New England game that we had to win to make the playoffs in '89 on the radio, and how long it took for the last play of the game to develop.

If i remember right (and i might have the wrong game) Shurmur played extra d-backs against Dallas in that '85 playoff game it really messed Staubach up. I also kind of remember a "The Eagle Has Landed" headline referring to his defense.

Of course the defense went south and we ran Shurmur out of town, hiring some guy named Jeff Fisher as our DC in Robinson's last year...
