Hard to ignore all the red flags there. Questionable personality with decline in performance makes him pretty iffy.

Maybe, but from what I've seen watching college football and comparing all the qbs. I like Cook the best. He has the look and feel of an NFL QB.

The other qbs this year have red flags too. Some are raw some need work. It's going to be tough for these club's to pick which one. They all have potential.

Even Cardale Jones has big time potential.

True, just haven't been impressed with Cook. When there was a chance for him to come out last year and he was being touted as a top guy, I watched what I could of him. What I saw didn't match the hype. Not even close. Maybe I need to re-look at him now that my expectations have been lowered. I just didn't see a guy making good throws or good decisions. Seems fine physically but he seems like a guy that needs to have his decision-making and accuracy "fixed". Which never seems to happen at the next level.

No way Fisher hitches his wagon to Keenum or Foles. Or go after another retread. Too risky. It would be career suicide. The smart play for snisher is to draft a rookie QB. Buys them more time and gives them plausible deniability for another season. Its the best move for the franchise too, as long as they select the right one :P

Let us remember that as much as Fisher harps on defense and a running game, his and his team's post season success all occurred when he had an NFL MVP under center in Steve McNair.

Titans had 6 winning season's under Fisher and made the playoffs in all 6:
McNair was the QB for 4 of those teams and went 5-4 in the playoffs including a loss in SB XXXIV to you-know-who
Vince Young and Kerry Collins were each 0-1 in the playoffs

Say what you will, Fish, you cannot win in this league without a QB who goes BEYOND managing (read: not losing) a game. You need a guy that can make things happen.

Announced on ESPN NFL Insiders today. The Titans are open for trades for the number one pick...."Someone" might just want to jump in front of Cleveleland for the rights to draft the top QB on the board.

What wil this cost us?

Whatever it is, it's going to be less than losing in Los Angeles will cost. Gotta jump out of the gate with a winning and exciting team. Pressure is on.

It better not cost us anything. Andrew Luck or John Elway aren't sitting there. Burning up the draft for the next Christian Ponder would be too much of a risk.

I would imagine a minimum 2 first round picks.
