Interesting. I expect that Spanos has his options defined from Kroenke and maybe there is nothing to actually negotiate. He takes option A (the partial share) or B (the tenant) or nothing.

Now he has to go look at his other options and make a decision.

The Chargers have until January 2017 to announce a deal. That gives them plenty of time to see what San Diego can do. The Inglewood threat is there. It doesn't have to be said out loud. The fact that they are keeping it quiet only makes sense to keep San Diego and the Raiders guessing. It doesn't affect the Rams one bit. I just would like for it to be formally settled so ESK can start generating his revenue streams. This decision is exactly how it should have played out. Spanos STFU and get 'er done in SD. If they fail, you at least tried and LA Chargers here you come.
