Would you sign Colin Kaepernick?

Yes, if the coaching staff believed him to be the best available option to back-up Jared Goff.

Yes. It would make an important statement, even if his skill level is questionable at this point.

No. Even if he is arguably the best option, the attention/distraction he'd bring to the team would override the benefit.

No. Even if he is arguably the best option, I don't like him or his approach, and would not want him on my team.

No. I don't care about his politics or persona. I simply don't believe a QB who has been idle for years could succeed.

If it's just about winning, his team was 1-10 that year.

Also, I think there must be something else going on with the numbers since he only completed 59% of his passes. IMO, his run around and make something happen style doesn't translate to consistently winning. The TD/INT ratio on it's own is good but there is something less clear going on that doesn't show up in the numbers.

Exactly right. I think there are a lot of fans who would not believe or agree with the coaches if they said they thought CK was the best option.

In the end, the overwhelming majority of people who voted indicated that their opinion would be based upon CK's football skills, not his political agenda.

Good line. Nice double entendre...

I am being pushed to the brink as it is. If the Rams signed CK they would be dead to me. They chose to wear the most hideous uniforms in football, chose to get rid of the best uniforms in football, messed with the horn, they're playing fast and loose with personnel and contracts, signed a gay player, presumably gay male cheerleaders...it's just too much. I am not interested in the Rams being progressive and political but if they signed CK, it would be the final straw.

Instead of a storied, traditional, historical franchise they have turned into a pandering, vapid, shallow franchise. I gave up on the Sunday Ticket in recent years and I'm not really looking forward to the 2020 Rams in particular and they have done everything they can do to lose me in general. I'm hangin' by a thread.

Who do we have as a backup if Goff goes down? John Wolford? Two undrafted rookies? We really don't have one right now. Kap looks better than what we have.

I wonder if they will try to get Bortles back on the cheap.

I don't understand this sentiment. It's outside my experience as a fan. Once, I tried to not be a Ram fan, told myself I didn't like them anymore, and it didn't work.

But not everyone has to have the same experience. Whatever you decide, good luck to you.
