Where is the source of that narrative?

Fred intimates that this came from Fabiani. And that the Raider knew that this was going on, and that their partner would ultimately push them out.

Wow. I didn't see this one either.

LA City Council said years ago (when Farmers Field was first popping up) that they didn't want the Raiders in town. It would make sense if the Chargers are going to stay down in San Diego to keep LA to one team only.

A caller on Fred said that Raiders set attendance records when they were in LA. Does anyone know if that's accurate?

A poster either here or on the other la board shared his experience being in the early NFL meetings held to see how corporate sponsors viewed the Rams, Raiders and Chargers. I think the meetings were held in late 2014 or early 2015.

He said that the Raiders were not wanted in LA by anyone in the meetings and the NFL knew this.

Don't remember the posters name, but he shared all of his information and his opinion was since then that Raiders would not be going to LA.

The Chargers may have been pushing that narrative but they didn't invent it...

Ask yourself why would Fabiani spin down 1/2 of the Charaiders? It doesn't make sense. AZ is eluding to the results of the LA Fortune 500 companies focus group where it was determined that a unanimously overwhelming number (all) would back the Rams, a few would back the Chargers too but none would back the Raiders.
Pat Haden has been quoted as saying he wouldn't rent to the Raiders again. The became a silver and black eye here in LA .

I remember attending a Raiders Chargers game in LA. 3rd qtr, about to bust from backed up beer guzzling, I go into the trough to relieve myself only to come upon a bloody Chargers fan laying on the floor in a stall soaked in Raider fan urine. He said they did it just because he was wearing a powder blue Fouts jersey in their house.
LA Raiders fans don't help do LA right.

They evicted them selves in 94. No do overs for them.

Rams: 15 of the top 20 attendance figures in the NFL were in Los Angeles. The Rams also set the all-time attendance record in 1957 with over 102,000 fans packing the Coliseum.
(JJ may have surpassed that in Dallas recently)

The common 'Ra' in their names must have confused Fred's caller.

"The Los Angeles Rams played the San Francisco 49ers before an NFL record attendance of 102,368 on November 10, 1957. This was a record paid attendance that stood until September 2009 at Cowboys Stadium, though the overall NFL regular season record was broken in a 2005 regular season game between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City"

Would love for the Rams to sell out the Coliseum on a consistent basis but USC doesn't even do that.

As far as the Raiders, something I've thought about is their black attire may actually help the Rams get back into blue and yellow. I don't think the gangs want to wear Rams colors and that would be a plus for the league.
