I decided that in the new Los Angeles Ram era, I would switch from the mourning and anger of Bernie M on St Louis radio and go to the station of record covering the LA relocation drama, the Beast 980..Before this, I read an article on the LA Times website that happened to be written by Plaschke, trying to tell the Rams (paraphrase) "Welcome, but we didn't need you..and you better win or else"..

Some of that is justified. But Plaschke, and to a lesser extent Zelasco, the assume this Rams team just sucks because of their last 10 years or so. Yes, thats a true statement but also misleading. We HAVE sucked, but that doesn't mean that with the right moves, the Rams don't go to the playoffs this year. It's just the same ham handed, lack of knowledge analysis you expect from the ESPN morons. They then had D'Marco Farr, current 101ESPN Rams coverage guy in ST Louis, and former LA/St. Louis Ram, on as a guest. His excitement about the team was infectious. It changed me from being pissed about Plaschke's cr@p, excited about the Rams playoff level defense, improving young Oline, and Todd Freaking Gurley. We are one QB away essentially from being a dangerous team. I maybe more optimistic than most, but that's who I am.

All I know, is that if Farr ends up on LA Sports Talk Radio, I am tuning into that station. Eff the too cool for school know italls, that do not yet know anything about the team

Basically the Rams get a decent quarterback and a decent receiver or two and they'l be a playoff team. Simple as that.

I was listening also and agree Plaschke was a little to dramatic. However, with that said it is nice to have a real media in the number 2 market in the world where the team will get called out when they should. This isn't Jim Thomas anymore. :)

I was listening this morning and thought that Ian Rapoport was sharp as a tack, as always. Man, that guy is good.

Zelasco is a vacuous bimbo. She never says anything of substance. I just dismiss her garbage out of hand.

It would be great if Farr got on the air in LA. I think he would thrive in that new environment.

I was going to mention that Rapoport was spot on, and prety much shut up Plaschke's crap (along with Farr). I just hate when people talk out of their @zz with such authority...I am also thinking he doesn't care about the Rams and is probably a Raider wonk.

Nah, he like the Rams,, and he's just a wonk. He was the one who told the NFL to go screw with another town when it looked like they might postpone. Call us when you're serious kind of thing. It's just the way he rolls. At least he doesn't make chit up like Bernie.

How about a head coach who actually cares enough about offense to get those things and subsequently utilize them?
