These owners defer everything to papa Goodell.

You're exactly right 78. He was trying to give SD some hope to get another team, if and when the Chargers leave. I know ever since SK's relocation report became avail to the media, the SD media has been hoping the Rams somehow ended up in SD.

Is this the wild card Roggin was referring to that would be dropped on Monday night? The subtle shot towards Spanos that if you dont work with me i will move into SD to definitely destroy whatever fan base you thought might follow you and blow up your "mega market" fantasy Policy fed the NFL. Also while SD fans might be done with the Chargers, how many LA Rams fans would travel to SD and would not buy Spanis tickets?
