Selfishly, the only thing that I'm not excited about is dealing with blackouts. I've had DirecTV for 15 years so it's hard for me to imagine switching now. I assume it's the same way regardless of which service you have. If the local game is the Rams game and the game isn't sold out, it's going to get blacked out.

Unless they keep the new "no blackout" rules they currently have in place.

I'm confused by this post. As you say, there is a new "no blackout" rule. Is there any reason to think that rule won't stay?

Doubtful it comes back. There were legal issues mounting regarding blackouts. Also many speculate it was dropped for relocation to LA. With a team using the Colisseum as a temp home that's a lot of seats to sell to lift the old blackout rules.

I hope you guys are right but the last time I read anything about it, the lifted blackout rules were temporary. In this day and age it seems difficult to believe the NFL can force the issue with so many people staying home to watch games, but they had it in place for some reason.
