I've had DirecTV for 15 years so it's hard for me to imagine switching now. I assume it's the same way regardless of which service you have. If the local game is the Rams game and the game isn't sold out, it's going to get blacked out.Unless they keep the new "no blackout" rules they currently have in place. by LoyalRam 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 248 Joined: Jul 21 2015 LA Coliseum Rookie Re: Down to Their Last Strike POST #12 Elvis, proof Hochman reads this site for story ideas by Gareth 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 1241 Joined: Mar 30 2015 LA Coliseum Pro Bowl Re: Down to Their Last Strike POST #13 moklerman wrote:Selfishly, the only thing that I'm not excited about is dealing with blackouts. As you say, there is a new "no blackout" rule. Is there any reason to think that rule won't stay? Also many speculate it was dropped for relocation to LA. With a team using the Colisseum as a temp home that's a lot of seats to sell to lift the old blackout rules. by dieterbrock 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 11512 Joined: Mar 31 2015 New Jersey Hall of Fame Re: Down to Their Last Strike POST #15 Yeah I think the blackout rule is gone for good by moklerman 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 7680 Joined: Apr 17 2015 Bakersfield, CA Hall of Fame Re: Down to Their Last Strike POST #16 I hope you guys are right but the last time I read anything about it, the lifted blackout rules were temporary. In this day and age it seems difficult to believe the NFL can force the issue with so many people staying home to watch games, but they had it in place for some reason. by Hacksaw 9 years 5 months ago Total posts: 24523 Joined: Apr 15 2015 AT THE BEACH Moderator Re: Down to Their Last Strike POST #17 No wonder St Louisans are befuddled.
