Everyone knows Kroenke guaranteed 2009 for Inglewood. Does anyone think Carson can do that? And if they could wouldn't they have gotten that out there?

because reporters are actually advocates for someone's position, all u really get are points that support that position.

And a containment cap (basically a protective layer put on top of the bad crap...not just dirt!...so it can't get to the surface). Usually you have to install slurry walls (putting "walls" into the ground to a certain depth so bad crap can't go sideways either), but haven't read those are required. At any rate, a containment cap requires a detailed design (which take an engineering company several months to develop) and EPA approval of the design. We all know how fast the Government works. Think several more months for that, unless someone is paid off to sign off on it. No one's moving dirt until next fall...

Literally the only thing said about this is that a couple scientists have given it the thumbs upskies. I smell bs.

I know this is Hacksaw but his report is completely opposite of Policy's story.

Chargers….Make final presentation of Carson Stadium Plans to the Committee on LA…..Carmen Policy met with the 6-member committee and answered questions about toxic land issues and report they are behind in environmental issues…..Yet to address the FAA concerns over height of Stadium…….and the co-funding and co-sharing of profits between Raiders-Chargers….Explained rationale for re-designing the stadium in recent months….and concers about delays….NFL told 3-franchises, the fee to move into Los Angeles would be 550M to the league office.

And engineers have calculated that due to the loamy soil and other adverse conditions, caisson piers at a width of approx 10 ft per, would need to extend from the structures foundation downward until it hits and then embedded into the bedrock some 50+ ft down. It's also been reported that those caissons would need to be placed approx 20 feet apart through out the structures footprint.

So how do you poke that many hole through the PVC containment caps and seal those penetrations with certainty?
