The best way you do that is:

1) Rams in Inglewood

2) Chargers with the option of Inglewood and the NFL will work with Spanos to get a stadium deal in San Diego

3) Raiders in Oakland with the NFL heavily involved in securing a new stadium

All get what they "need".

The St Louis stadium has clearly never been viable and the Carson stadium imaginary.

This past week has been manic but it constantly moves towards Rams in LA.

We will not be shocked about the Rams coming home. Just real happy. The St Louis folks will be shocked and haten on Stan. Ambivalent at best.

Yup. Totally agreement here.

The only other thing that "may" come out of this is some statement from the NFL to 'make a committment to work with leadership in StL in order to secure them a new stadium and NFL franchise." I just wonder if NFL leadership will be seeking a way to political diffuse the situation there, as they don't need the bad PR coming out of StL media and political leaders, so time to extend an olive branch there.

not sure the postseason has any impact on the timing of a reloc decision, lots of nfl news, including sordid nfl news, often surfaces right before and during the postseason, including head coach firings, player misdeeds, etc., which are arguably of much more interest, distracting, to the general nfl fan than where the rams, raiders or chargers might end up playing...

That's a great point.

But likely a footnote to this process. And will have a great effect to St Louis.

The only other point I would add to your post (in item number 2) is that SD will be given approval (now) to move, but only after CoC is open, which gives Spanos 2yrs to figure out SD. And isn't, or wasn't, there something planned for June in SD? So again, I say Spanos gets the leverage he wants, and some cash from the NFL, perhaps via Kroenke, to get his downtown wet dream stadium in SD.

So, Kroenke gets an expansion team as a tenant at CoC in a few years, whenever the LA is ready and figures everything out.

I was thinking the same as you on item 2. It just didn't get written that way. :)
