I doubt Foles plays another down for Fisher.

I read Fisher say

(On if his expectation is that QBs Case Keenum and Nick Foles will compete)
“Yes, there will be competition there. But, Case is going to come back as the starter.”

(On if quarterback is a position they will look at)
“Of course it is. Yes, it is. Yeah, we’ll look at all of the positions. But, we’ll look at that position as well.”

I fully expect the Rams draft a QB 99%. And in round one. I wouldn't put it past them to go all in and trade up to the top of the draft, if the fall in love with Goff or Lynch. Snisher won't survive another year if they don't land a franchise QB. And Keenum isn't a franchise QB. We know that and they know it, know matter what statements they make publicly.

Defilippo did help develop Derek Carr. Who knows if he had a say in drafting him, maybe the guy has an eye for QBs. I also thought Cleveland outperformed the personnel on offense when McCown was healthy. If he can do for Tavon Austin, what he did for Travis Benjamin there won't be many complaints. Can't hurt to talk to the guy.

i dunno... the brownies averaged just 19 offensive points per game with mccown under center, which equates to a 25th ranking equiv in offensive scoring, and posted a 1-7 in his 8 starts... carr? personally i'm not as high on carr as some, he's been a middle of the pack guy, that said, carr also had the benefit of olsen and saunders in the house his rookie season... anyway, a young guy with just 1 year's worth of oc experience under his belt is hard to get excited about imo, especially so when the task is to try to finally put one of the very worst nfl offenses over the last decade on the map...
