A lot of Fisher proponents have considered his ability to win big games against some of the better teams on the schedule as an asset. I am starting to believe otherwise. If the Rams are talented enough to go on the road and beat the likes of Arizona and Seattle, what in the world are his teams doing against lesser opponents? To be able to beat these teams consistently, and lose to lesser teams imo is a sign of bad coaching not good. These wins stacking up against good teams under Fisher year after year are turning into a negative for coach Fisher.

It's nothing new. Every year the Rams have a few games where they really look like contenders and it's always fool's gold. It's the NFL, it happens. The Ravens with their 4th QB just beat Pittsburgh, who really needed to win.

Rams winning in Seattle isn't a bad thing by any means but I don't think it's a precursor of things to come.

I'm hopeful that Fisher finally has the right Offensive Coordinator IMO, Rob Boras is an excellent assistant coach and the fact that he coordinated for John Robinson at UNLV gives me hope for the Los Angeles Rams more karma.

When I was in Napa I asked a couple staff what the team did differently to prepare for Seattle last week, and they said nothing unusual. The team that beat seattle last week could have contended for a deep playoff run. I actually said this to directly to Coach Fisher, but he didn't respond. It is bizarre that this team has such a huge differential in on-field performance.

Big wins are only a plus if you have enough wins aside from those to get in the playoffs. Otherwise the occasional tease is just that. An occasional tease.

Fisher has not shown so far that he can have his teams prepared to win consistently. Sure, divisional teams hate to play us. But other teams don't seem to have a problem. I'd rather go 3-3 in the division and 8-2 against everyone else.
