That gives him the better bargaining position cutting deal.

This whole thing is crazy, but one thing I am 100% confident about is that Kroenke has the 9 votes he needs to block. If he wants to block, he can.

If I was sure that Kroenke can hold onto those 9 votes, then I would be sure the Rams are going back to LA.

Even if Spanos gets 23 votes and they tell Stan to make a deal, what deal is he gonna make that doesn't include Rams in LA? Every other deal for him is a major loss.

I am 100% sure he has the 9.

StL makes me unsure though - if he wants a deal there, I guess he works it out. If he wants to block, he can.

Could ESK provide Davis with an incentive that causes the Raiders not to file for relocation? If so, doesn't that pretty much slam the door on the Spanos man-child?

There will be opportunity for them to talk in Napa.

OTOH, Spanos has kept his troops in line to this point, not sure Davis would break ranks...

I'm not convinced that Davis is as much of Spanos' pawn as the media leads us to believe. His best case scenario is staying in Oakland and building up his brand there.

So, maybe he breaks ranks.

I'm planning to drive to Napa next week for at least 1-day of practice. I'll keep an eye out for ESK & Davis chatting with camera in tow.
