The LB group outside of Littleton needs massive upgrade IMO.
Other fans like Fowler, my issue is he gets stupid penalties rather frequently. I am not sold on Peters, he is not a #1 or #2 from what I’ve watched of him. Joyner has limitations, his replacement is not on the roster.

The Oline is going to be a huge issue moving forward. Blythe is a matador, Sullivan is held together with scotch tape and Whitworth is 37. I’d rather see the Rams let Suh and Fowler walk, putting this money into the Oline. They need depth on D but, the future is keeping Goff upright IMO.

The defense was on the field way too long to expect them not to get worn down late in the game. They got zero help from the offense, but let’s blame the defense for not being super machines.

Whitworth said the guys on offense got rattled, and it showed. The key guys on offense, including McVay, were not ready for that big stage. That was the issue.

The Rams defense played very very well, agreed just got worn down. This game really reminded me of the Tampa Bay NFC championship game in 2000 with the GSOT. That game Proehl made the catch, this time Cooks doesnt make either catch they may have been the difference. Also the phantom holding call on Gurley big run really hurt and no call PI when the Pats mugged Reynolds was huge. BUT the RAMS o-line got beat like they did against the Bears and Eagles. That was why the offense never got going 100%. Not sure why we didnt try more motion and hurry up.

Once Gurley showed he wasn't on top of his game, Boston defended the deeper zone. They ran several stunts and blitzes that had Goff uncomfortable. He was hesitating a lot. Timing broke down.

On D, I changed my mind about N. Suh. I'd like to keep that line intact. Brokers too.
Talib and Peters play better together. That's a formidable duo. Safety and OLB is a concern. Love Littleton. Barron not so sure anymore.

I want us to trade Brockers for a low pick, and move up to grab Christian Wilkins in the draft. I'd bet we will have to move up about 10 spots to get him, but he could play D/E and then replace Suh whenever he leaves. The guys is really quick. Also, it would improve our cap space by about $9 mil after signing that rookie.
