This game was just like the STL game...Déjà vu. Where the hell was the run game? I really think McVay out coached himself in both games. I believe McVay publically said they were going to use Gurley a lot hoping BB would prep for a Rams run game. Instead McVay was going to put the game in Goff's arm all along. IMO.

The Rams only ran the ball 18 times, which is low for a team whose strongest offensive trait is running the ball.

Ya it was two areas where they had a big advantage over us and one was in coaching and that was the difference.

I kept waiting for Sean to make adjustments but he never did. I didn’t think Sean would go down the way he did. With a whimper.

Well I think we all know the story is and will be that McVay got outcoached but that he will learn from it and be back. Don't see any reason to doubt that either way.

The Rams had the most trouble this year with wily old veteran DCs---Patricia, Fangio, Schwartz, and Belichick.

Proud of the defense though.

Agreed. Literally a handful of offensive plays and we get the rings. If anything - and depending on who comes back next season - our D has solidified and will be looking good next season.
