honestly, i really don't know what's goin' on with this, either he's not 100% or he flat out has decided he doesn't have to get dirty and he'll still get paid millions... watching all-22 from his first 2 years in kc, the guy got his head in there, he was physical, he would tackle, but not anymore... if i described what i've seen from him as a ram on the 22 most would think i was grossly exaggerating, it's that bad, his favorite thing to do is grab a wr at the snap and have the wr let him know if the play is going to his side, often the wr will just stop one he's grabbed, when the play is going to the opposite side, meaning (apparently) peters can just stop too, the play is done for both of them, no pursuit, no need to work up a sweat, this crap goes on far too much in the nfl imo... but it gets worse, he just doesn't, clearly, like to tackle, he'll wait for others to reach the ball carrier and pretend like he's "containing", it's really bullshit.

peters' play often reminds of what kyle turley once talked about, opposing players not only letting each other know when they can take plays off, but opposing players telling each other that they're not 100% that day so go easy, said it happened all of the time, and players would oblige, but whenever someone tried it with him he said he would make it a point to attack the ailment, and tell them thanks for letting me know, added that's why he wasn't popular among a lot of players... i actually thought he was full of shit, mostly because i never liked the guy, but you can this crap going on far too much when watching the 22, the taking off of plays, it's very disheartening.

IIRC, he used to force a fair amount of fumbles.

Now, the bad effort is so bad that the only conclusion one can draw is that it's purposefull.

I thought Peters played pretty decent against the Saints-even made a couple of nice tackles and deflections but certainly not MVP game material. Really wish he would not "taunt" after the game like he did with Payton. Taliq even got into the act and then TG putting that jersey trading pic with the ref on Social Media? That type of Karma will catch up with you because I'm sure the other Refs around the league notices that stuff. McVay has built up a class organization and these actions takes away from it-I hope Peters is gone next year.
