I should sue the league just because I have a $2000 60 inch screen with Sunday Ticket and it looks like my TV has no color or brightness. I wouldn't care if they don't build Inglewood, just fix up the Coliseum a little and call it home!

I love the Coliseum. Some of the upgrade sketches I've seen look fantastic.

Whether it's Fabiani, Policy or Iger, it's just talk. Nothing is happening at the actual site, no real money being spent. No remediation, no plans, no permits, nothing.

Compare that to Inglewood. No PR but the land is ready to go, the stadium is designed, they have their permits, real money has been spent on Inglewood

This is one thing that hasn't changed since we first heard of Carson...

True that.

$2 spent on land purchase.
$1 spent on Bob Iger endorsement (which he can't fulfill until after leaving Disney in 2018).
No remediation done as of yet and many questions after it's started or completed.

You have to give them credit though, they've kept the mirage alive without investing a ton of money or resources.

My current take is the Rams are gone and so I don't duplicate myself I will just copy and paste myself on how I drew such conclusions.

The problem STL faces and have been told so point blank is their financing does not work. It does not work for Stan, does not work for other owners, does not work for the league over all and notice has been served.

The problem for Carson is the financing does not work. Only reason Iger was brought on so late in the game. Fact is as Goldman and all who crunch numbers have looked at Carson one thing has glared at them and that is all money loaned is against unknown revenue. So to make Carson work Goldman was gonna end up with some equity in both the Chargers and Raiders.

So Iger has been brought on and is being offered equity in one of two teams and his choice which one. Carson is trading the equity they were gonna lose to Goldman for the expertise, money connections, business connections of Iger. Iger is a nothing more than a bridge to cover the differences of cost of money that is gonna be needed to cover the uncertainties of future revenue vs the loss revenue and the additional cost to acquire customers in LA by SD and Oak.

Stan is not going rogue and he is not digging now because he already knows he will get the green light on Inglewood and out of courtesy for the league until they announce in Jan he has put the shovels on hold so it does not give speculation prior to the announcement that he is going rogue or that he has won.

At this late in the game looking at all available evidence the addition of Iger, the monies and no digging going on these are the only logical conclusions I can draw based solely on current actions.

The league to appease everyone and so lawsuits do not abound has offered to let the odd man out the Raiders know they will be taken care of as well why the league has said they will help build a stadium for the Raiders.

Spanos does not want to be hitched with Stan so in my opinion they (the league) are buying as much time as they can until Jan to let them two hash out any differences. If not Stan will be going to Inglewood alone and a announcement will be made that LA will have a second team in a few years as well in Carson and will take place after Iger is full time on board. As it was the only reason he was brought on to sell him the equity that Goldman would have ended up with and forge a working partnership where Iger can use connections he has that a loan will and does deprive him (Spanos) of.

Anyway unless things change which they have all throughout this narrative so unless things change the only conclusion can draw from present evidence is the scenarios I have stated above.

It's humorous reading posts from people in St Louis and articles from the St Louis media. I've read it from a few people they're comparing Richardson talking to Iger with Kroenke and Spanos discussing Inglewood prior to Stan buying it. Not even close people! Stan and Spanos talking is 2 owners discussing a possible business venture they could go in on together. Richardson talking to Iger is somebody who's supposed to be a neutral arbiter guiding the NFL through the LA relocation process taking sides in the issue before it's even come to a vote! It's not rocket science anybody should be able to see the difference as long as they take off their rose colored glasses.

Why does everything in St. Louis have to be red? Just like the seats in the Dome!

It's a Cardinal town :)

I gotta say, i lived there for several years and I never went to see the football Cardinals, but boy, I certainly went to a lot of baseball games. Great baseball town.
