Just had a funny thought... You know how none of these renderings are "final"? You know how the Rams are going to change their uniforms the first year in that stadium? Not that I would want them too, but can you imagine if Rams did a big uniform color change, like back to the red or something. Then, made all the seats red to match in the stadium? So the Chargers would be in a sea of red in their "home" stadium. I cant believe Spanos has much say in the aesthetics of the stadium...

Has anyone considered purchasing cheaper SSLs for the Chargers just to be able to flip tickets in case they do well the next few years? I mean, you can get in for $100.

Don't wast money on Chargers. I've had season tickets 2 years. Not a good investment at all but it's been a great venue to watch games at stub hub. I suspect new stadium will be 75% empty for Chargers.

Yup i bought 4 aisle seats in section 550 row 4.

I will make my ssl in the first season for sure because everyone will want to be at the stadium. Cant compare carson stadium resell to new stadium/pricing. Yes carson stadium was tight knit but the prices were insanely high. $50 to get into a brand new stadium is a bargain if you ask me. My ticket resells for cheap ram seats in 360/season section have made me quite a bit of money on the games i dont go to. For the most part people just want to be in the stadium to watch their visiting team. It only takes 2-3 big games to make your money back. Packers tickets in my section were going for $200 and i paid no where near that. So i would say taking on cheap ssl seats has low risk. Make ur ssl back the first season and decide later if you want to keep them. Rams on the other hand i am taking a bit more risk since i invested $12k for section 450 first row.

But hey that is just my two cents

That's sort of my mindset. For the first couple of years, people will want the new stadium experience and, if the Bolts do well, I think there will be an upgraded demand aside from the stadium itself. I figured I could make my money back+ over two years and then ditch if I don't want to continue. Hell, my Sundays are free anyway so, if I wanted to hang out in the new development for the afternoon with the upside of watching a game for awhile if I chose to, sounds like fun to me. I'm only 4 miles away.

But I'm not good at mathing, so I may be missing something. :lol2:

I'll give you the latter half. But I definitely watch other NFL games, even if they have zero impact on the Rams. On TV; in person - I don't see a difference. I love football. :D

Of course, as I mentioned, this would be more of a financial transaction to flip tix for the good games with the added benefit of seeing another live NFL game, if I chose to. Being located nearby is a factor.

It's all good bro, that's just me. I too watch other games, I just don't invest in the opportunity to see them live.. To each his own and I am glad that the Chargers have made that a possibility for you and those who are like-minded.

How the Chargers and their pricing effects the Rams and their market share is still unknown, but I just can't see how it will be positive for us..

GO RAMS !!!

I hope you're correct. My coworkers who bought Niner PSL's lost money the first season.

They have only a 4 year-old stadium so that is definitely something to consider in regards to the "stadium experience" rationale. I'm wondering if Levi's came with a surrounding entertainment development and if the SSLs were as low as $100. Tix and recuperating the costs, of course, are a different conversation and are really what the risks are. The $200 SSLs investment is nominal at best.
