If he is staying in StL and isn't happy about it, he may run the course with Fish as a big F you to the StLoo and the NFL for denying him.

I dont believe that a HC at the NFL level knows how to do anything other than trying the very best to win at all costs.
I think Fisher has done the best he can do, which sadly isnt good enough. But to think that he gave less than his best because the team was moving? I just dont see it

I don't know the answer, but am hopeful that this is the case. Otherwise we are in for another shake up.
It goes to the argument of tanking to keep the fans away to support relo. He might be doing the best he can with what he gave himself.
For example, no one thought that trotting out a rookie Oline was a good plan from day one. That may or may not have been by mistake.

I suppose. But game 1, the only rookie that started was Brown right? And he actually played pretty decent before he got hurt.
The o-line plan was suspect at best though no doubt. Still and all, I dont see a new coaching staff being a shakeup. We're looking down the barrell of back to back 6-10 seasons. Between the defense and Gurley, I just cant imagine a new coach coming in and winning less than 8 games

As long as GW, Fassell stick around then I'm in. I like the swagger Fishers team has but I'd rather have wins.

BTW, I consider GRob a rookie and I though Haverstein started too,,, or was it Softfold? No wasn't Roger LG? Crap I can't remember anymore.

Hacksaw wrote:Yes, Fish under orders. He just needs to relinquish total control over that side of the ball. That way the good parts stay intact.

Could be wishful thinking but I don't think things will stay the same. Heimerdinger was his most successful OC and under him they put up some decent numbers and win /loss records. I really doubt he is disinterested in scoring points, just relinquishing control.

Perhaps the LA Rams will be more attractive to the Jackson's and Gase's of the league.

I would be happy with that solution.

By the way, the 1970's called and is terribly offended you insulted them like that!!
