When the Rams played the Vikings, Thielen got hit in the head and went in the concussion protocol, but only missed a few plays. I think the Rams were being cautious/smart with Cooks and Kupp.

He was not comfortable and was stumbling all over in justifying his time out, he wanted out of there and left pretty abruptly for a Pete press conference.

Whether McVay is a mastermind or Carroll simply didn't think it through it was still a HUGE mistake on his part. Don't blame him, I'd want the hell out of there too.

I look at it this way, about a foot to go, your in a hostile environment with the lead, you have a good line and can seal the deal. They gave you time to think it thru.

The other side is the clock is running and rather then take a penalty and give one of the best legs at long field goals another 5 yards you punt, they have two time outs so 40 to 50 seconds is a lot more like a minute to a minute and a half to go maybe 30 or 40 yards against what would be a prevent defense most likely. With that much time and two time outs the running game is still effective to keep a defense honest.

Pete gave the players time to argue that and McVay time to think on it. Many on the board I posted on today disagree with me, but I think with the Rams having the lead it was a mistake.

Nah I thinkn it was a system issue, Wilson was seen pointing to his helmet a couple times and we burned two time outs becasue of play relays being messed up.

Practice Squad

Hell of a game;
Congratulat';s for a 5-0 start.
I'm glad that they were able to pull ot a V.
That said;
The D was extremely BAD! and I say this with the utmost of care.
They need to get more stout against the run.
I can see this being an issue down the road.
The team just dose not have the proper personnel to execute a 3-4 D.
I also thought that on O they should have3 run the bail more.
2 TE sets?
Lack of a FB?
5-0; is a great start! :D
