If this is true, then it shows that Dr Chao isn't totally reliable. He said if they are doing surgery then the ligament is torn. Apparently they did the surgery and that wasn't the case. So store that away.

All of the attention surrounding the Los Angeles Rams right now is centered on their 38-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night. It was a fantastic game that ended in the perfect result for the Rams, moving to 4-0 on the year.

However, as exciting and positive as it was, there was one bit of news looming large. Aqib Talib underwent surgery on his ankle Thursday after being placed on injured reserve this week. It’s a significant blow for the Rams, but Sean McVay shared some good news after the win.

“He did, yes he had surgery. Good news is I think the deltoid was intact. So, I think hopefully we’ll get him back sooner than later,” he said.

McVay said previously that the Rams wouldn’t be sure about a timetable for return until Talib had the procedure, and even still, he’ll be out at least eight weeks. The earliest he can return is Week 13 against the Lions, giving him five games to potentially play at the end of the season.

Marcus Peters gave the Rams a big boost on Thursday night by playing through a calf injury just four days after suffering it. The fact that he should be healthy down the stretch – especially with a long break before Week 5 – is a huge plus for Los Angeles.

Until Talib returns, Sam Shields will assume his spot on the outside as one of the three starting cornerbacks next to Peters and Nickell Robey-Coleman. It wasn’t their best performance defensively this week, but as long as the offense keeps scoring the way it has, the Rams will survive the absence of Talib.

So it turns out that you're happy to have been wrong, and I'll admit that I regret giving you such a hard time.

Everyone mark your calendars... this isn't bound to happen too often!

As long as we have both Peters and Talib for the playoff run. It just might work out pretty good for us.

Well Talib should be back on week 13 against the Lions... that's the ninth game, missing 8 games...

Wish it could of been against KC.... the 11th week,, the 12th week is a bye...

If we’re gonna get injuries, and law of averages says we’re due for some after staying so healthy last year, it’s better to get them early as long as we get guys back for the playoff run.

So I’m pretty happy about things regarding our injuries. However, We need to get Zuerlein back healthy and not have him reinjure himself. So gotta be careful with him and find another more dependable kicker, don’t think Ficken is good enough. Can’t keep a guy who you can’t depend on to kick a chip shot in crunch time.

Its good to know that you've got an open mind. Very admirable. Turns out I was wrong about you too. Mark that down on your Calendar as well. You may have to keep it as long as Kavanaugh, as much good as that will do. :D

MTV Cribs is back!

It's not bad for a starter house.
