What will the secondary look like on Thursday Night Football against Minnesota?

Here’s my story on a wild Sunday in the Rams defensive backfield, where Sam Shields and Troy Hill stepped in for injured All-Pro starters Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib to fend off Phillip Rivers and help the current Super Bowl favorites improve to 3-0.

*bump*

If you haven't read this I do highly suggest it, good article, also really gives you some insight and hope into how good Hill could be in helping cover for Peters and/or Talib.

It could be better, but I'm not too concerned. I have confidence in all three. Simply hoping they can stay healthy for a few weeks.

Actually, I forgot how well Hill played when Web went down; and that he was the highest graded corner in the first round of the playoffs. That says something to me, and against Matt Ryan no less. I have been and am still most concerned about our edge pressure and run stopping ability from out OLB's and while Ramik Wilson is serviceable, a healthy Barron cannot get back soon enough. Although, I am starting to lose faith that he will even play this season. He might be headed to IR if he doesn't get healthy once the other injured guys are close to returning

Nice stuff a1.

2 things here.

1. I expect we'll be just fine with Wade being able to scheme with the guys he's got as long as there are no further injuries back there.

2. Boy, whats with Joyner? His PFF rating fits what my eyeballs have been telling me this year. Sure looks like he's a goner next year. I'm not sure who's gonna give him big bucks, he doesn't look like a top tier FS to me.

Hill did play well when pressed into starting service last season. I wasn't too impressed with his work off the bench and in the preseason. I wonder if his focus is different when he knows he's starting? I know we could do worse.
