She's cute and all but having her explain how hit a 98 MPH slider strikes me as odd knowing she never has hit one. It's just this world we live in where everyone has to be PC.
Bill Burr compared it to if he wrote a book called "the Third Trimester and what to Expect".

It's nothing personal, just can't stand her voice. Which shouldn't be much of an insult to her as it doesn't sound natural at all.

I'm reminded of the scene in the Howard Stern movie where his wife tells him to just speak naturally. His radio persona was just fake sounding and not nearly as compelling as his sincere voice.

I assume that's what she is doing since it does sound like a bad Harry Carey impersonation.

I didn't listen to her a whole lot but i didn't hear her say anything i thought was stupid, just didn't like the sound of her voice.

But is that really her fault? I've gone 50+ years never hearing a woman call an NFL game so it sounds weird to me.

I don't think that's on her...

Personally I thought she was better than the dregs that did the Ram game. Other than Witten (who was OK, if vanilla), I thought they all stunk. Boogar McFarland was all the evidence you need that playing football at a high level doesn't qualify you as an analyst ..."They need to keep isolating Cook." Then after the interception, "They went to the well once too often." Quality stuff.

I get the voice, I agree, though I've gotten used to it after hearing her do a few games. But if you're going to criticize her for not having played I think you need to hold the men to the same standard and many of them never played. I'm always amazed how little some of them know about the game after doing it for 20 years. That's just lazy. Too much time spent working on catch phrases.

She has always had that "radio voice" every since I have known her. It is really not much different than her regular speaking voice.

I met her through my buddy who was the local radio station manager. The two of them had a morning show together.

Helluva an athlete.

She played SS on our softball team and would play pickup hoops with us frequently. I believe her assist record still stands in girls basketball (cant remember what division)

The girl could obviously talk sports and sports trivia with the best of them.

Let's call it what it is, Monday night football is now played on Sunday night. The games are usually the game of the week and good announcers. Both announcing teams for these Monday night games were awful. I was really not impressed with Jason Witten. It's too bad Kurt, Romo or even Boomer didnt get the job.
