Joyner wasn't going bounty.
I agree you don't stoop the the lowest denominator.
I believe it was Confucius who said "Never argue with anyone less intelligent than yourself because an observer won't be able to tell the difference". That somewhat applies here.
I don't know what his reasoning was, if any, but that wasn't a clean hit. With so many QB's being injured while playing the Rams, it's not hard to see why opposing coaches aren't too pleased.

Not saying the Rams are targeting QB's, especially when some of the injuries are non-contact, but after a point it's got to be more than coincidence.

At first i thought Bridgewater was faking, after that shot he took to the legs and how quickly he bounced backed, i just figure he thought he was playing soccer.

The hit was clearly a penalty but it didn't appear malicious to me, though i may be a bit biased. I might have a different take if i were a Vikings fan...

I just wish the Rams could, y'know, maybe win one of those games. . . .

Joyner could have really laid Teddy out if he wanted to. That's a little game you play when you try and hold a baseball slide that late. If you don't want to get hit, get down 3 yard quicker. Especially since he had burned the D for 8 points a few minutes prior with his legs. Everyone should know by now the Rams D comes to punish with their hits. Watch every QB slide quicker playing the Rams now.

I believe our very dominant and effective pass rush with all the blitz pkgs designed to wreak havoc in the backfield has more to do with the injured QB's than dirty play... That and the concrete warning track at the ED of course. lol
The blow by Joyner's arm isn't what knocked Teddy Bear out (if he was) it was his head hitting the turf (of course caused by sliding late and Joyner's arm hitting his helmet as LJ was trying to roll out of the way). If it appeared deliberate the NFL would have suspended him.
No coach should be pleased when their QB is knocked out, but I doubt that is the directive. GW or no GW.
Zimmer over reacted and pouted like a bitch.
