The Rams are officially not playing in London this coming season. I think the Mexico City game or games will be announced today (it's been reported that it's going to be KC @ LA Rams).

BTW, as we can see the international games are being announced in January whereas the schedule come out in April which, i guess, helps explain why the Chargers didn't have an international game last year even though they were playing in a temporary stadium but do now...

Supposedly it takes longer than a week to get acclimated to that type of elevation. Another school of thought (which the Raiders used last year, and they lost 33-8 to the Pats) was to arrive the day of the game.

Sit in a plane for 3 hours then go out and play football all in the same day...Sit on your duff for 3 hours then get psyched for a game. That doesn't sound pleasant.

They should train for the week at Lake Tahoe :), Or, if we go to Mex right after playing the donkeys in Denver, stay there at elevation to prepare. Two games back to back at high altitude would be a bitch - but damn, the following game they would have massive O2 saturation!

This is what I'm hoping for. Definitely going to the game but maybe I can stalk them some more if they stayed a week.

Personally not being very observant I thought your login name was due to airline employment, not living in Denver (even though it says it *right there* in the header).

You do realize that it should be “ElevationRam” unless you spend a lot of time in airplanes.... :D :D

I was watching a PGA tournament last year in Mexico City. The players had to adjust their yardage quite a bit due to the elevation. The ball traveled a lot further there. I wonder if GZ would try a 70 yarder there?
