Trae Waynes can't even get on the field and he's a 74.5. LOL.

I've listened to the PFF podcasts. What a bunch of self-absorbed know-it-alls.

On the last PFF podcast, the host mentioned that the Wall Street Journal said that Todd Gurley is already the best RB in the NFL and they all scoffed at that. The guy who writes for the WSJ is Mike Salfino, a very bright guy who does a podcast with Scott Pianowski, one of the best FF guys out there. Salfino works closely with Massey-Peabody, the brilliant quant guys from Yale and Wharton.

Guys who actually look at film and who are respected in the business, all consider Gurley an elite player.

When I see PFF rating Gurley as an average starter, that tells me all I need to know about them. There is no way they can rationalize that grade to an intelligent person.

I look at PFF grades for fun, more to see if they got it right than to tell me something I don't already know.

Yeah, I definitely take their grades with a grain of salt. Sometimes I really have to wonder. Its nice to have some sort of database to look at/reference though since I can't watch all the players all the time. Over time I think they get a more right then they do wrong.

I dunno . . .It's got to be difficult to grade what someone did without actually knowing what they were supposed to do and I don't know the credentials of the people at PFF.

That being said, hey, did anyone get Jared Cook's number?

That pass catching curve is pretty ugly.
I did notice him making some nice blocks against the whiners though.
