The senior bowl is nice to scout future stars. But so many good underclassmen coming out early over the years can't participate. So it kinds loses a little luster for me.

True but our first 4 picks and 6 total from last year played in the Senior Bowl...

And 2 were ready to contribute in a major way, immediately.
Lower ceiling than some undergrads? Sure, possible. But more of a finished product and a great environment to evaluate them.

I wonder if it was just a fluke or if it's gonna be a pattern with this regime...

I gotta say, as big of a deal as the Senior Bowl is to the Rams it's really disappointing how we're getting no coverage of it from out local reporters. I know the Pro Bowl is going on at the same time but they can't send anybody?

The SCNG group is in limbo right now so that’s the last think they’re thinking about.

That only leaves Alden and Gary, right?

Alden works for ESPN, and Gary works for the LA Times, so they have to be concerned about future layoffs.

Myles Simmons is at the Pro Bowl. A few days ago he said this is his first year covering the Pro Bowl instead of the Senior Bowl. The Rams having him cover the Pro Bowl because there's so many Rams participating in the game.

D. Farr is covering the Senior Bowl practices, but you probably already knew that.

Personally, I don't think it's a big deal that there's not a lot of Rams media covering the practices. It's not like you gain that much insight from them. There's a lot of other NFL media people there covering it.
