That article is working on the assumption that Stan will go away quietly when the league says no. I wouldn't automatically assume that. He always seems to be ahead of the game.

Well, looks like LA ain't going to LA. They say the presentation is what cost them. Not enough focus on basketball and too much on LA opportunities. Some thought Kobe telling him he'll be like Pau turned him off too. Whatever the case, time to move on and focus on Monroe or Jordan. I'm hearing they ...

Out of all the rumors I've heard, Aldridge is the one I want to happen for the Lakers. Not only will it improve them, it'll keep Aldridge from going to San Antonio or anywhere else in the West. Exactly. He's still got a few good years left. He could be part of the rebuilding core in a couple years....

I have a feeling these guys are just planning to build it and worry about financing later. Once its built they gotta commit to it and they've done their job. As far as how to pay for it, they'll burn that bridge when they come to it. Sound like they haven't been totally honest with the financing plan.

I heard the Lakers were going to offer the $80 mil max contract to Lamarcus Aldridge. And the same source says he just might take it. That would be a solid addition. An all star big man who averages over 20ppg and 8 rebounds. I would prefer him over Love. I think Love is not as much a team player an...

Howard does not have that tough mindset it takes to lead a team. He'd be more comfortable being the comic sidekick. I know he's not the team leader on Houston. Its Harden. I don't see Houston ever winning a championship with that duo. Howard's not mentally tough enough and Harden's a defensive liabi...

I was playing a little devil's advocate at ROD. One thing I noticed hasn't been addressed much, does Kroenke let his emotions dictate decisions? I mean, if the stadium plan in the Lou gets done and the league says he's gotta stay and fork out $250 mil, who's to say he won't get pissed and exercise t...

No doubt he's a long run waiting to happen. But we haven't seen much of it. That Colts game gave us a glimpse of what he's capable of. But he's had nothing close ever since. Like I said, every team needs a guy like that. He's got some value. But considering where he was drafted if he ain't a bust he...

He's the kind of guy a good team needs. He's a dangerous punt returner. He's good at jet sweeps. I actually saw a play where a LB was ready to grab him for a tackle and he literally outran the grasp. The LB just grabbed air. He can be dangerous on short crossing routes. But the caveat is, there are ...

That last picture is why I'm just not too excited about the old blue and whites. Primarily, too much like the Colts but secondarily, having that third color just makes it look right. It helps that I don't have any sentimental attachment to that era. No coincidence the Rams - Colt's swap out. Some o...
