To me, its pretty simple: stop the run when you KNOW the run is coming. Also, stopping the run on early downs somehow lessens the efficacy of play action on early downs. the other glaring weakness on this D is giving up the big play at the worst time, and most importantly, getting stops on 3rd down....

Not really sure what either of those lasts two posts mean or if directed my way. Nonetheless, I guess I could have waited another 18 hours to ask the question. Everyone here has stated their opinions. We will see. It is a very significant loss. I hope and believe the TE's will see an uptick in targe...

I wasn't in a rush to call anything. I just have a good amount of experience, sadly, with seeing ACL injuries. I was in a rush to see what everyone thinks McVay/the team will do to adjust for the rest of the season.

Indeed. That was a great route. Also Higbee’s adjustment in his TD catch was very impressive. I think bigger and bigger things are coming from both these guys as well as Reynolds.

It really is mind boggling. Watch the all-22. Multiple players are held every fucking play. I don't justify the "acting out" out of frustration, but I totally get it. I hope A1 can come in here and give us holding stats for the teams we have faced. We HAVE to have the lowest number of off...

Oh and another one of those “4th quarter comebacks” that I hear people say he needs to get “better at” Haha LMAO Kid has what it takes. I don't care how he gets it done; he just gets it done. He has like what, 7-8 300+ yard games this season? Nope, he has 5 + one for 295, and one over 400. Averagin...

Kupp is done for the year.

I don't think so. Not with how the TE's have been coming on. They create way more mismatches and can block better than Williams. Sean can run the same shit out of 12 as he can out of 11, especially if he flexes one of the TE's outside or to the slot.

Nope. If teams sell out on stopping the outside zone, Goff will carve them up. And we ran a lot of jet sweeps and 90-flip today as well. McVay ain't stupid. He will adjust.

We will see. He is great on jet sweeps and is great in space. But, I don't think he supplants Reynolds by any stretch. He is just a more trusted option than Williams or Hodge.
