Kennison had success later in KC. But Avery was the same ole in KC. 40 receptions in 2013, injured in 2014. Kennison in KC had a couple of 1000 yard seasons. I agree with your description of Avery. You're not a deep threat if you can't run other routes and so become predictable and easy to contain....

It does seem like something teams are doing less now than ever. The Rams gave up Macomb after 2004 (i think) and held camp at Earth City after that.
