I think the AP suffers from bias as well. Not to the same extent that the ProBowl does but I still question AP selections at times. I think the "stars" are given the benefit of the doubt all things being equal.

To add to my above post. I don't think McVay is the coach he is today without some of the guidance given to him from Whit. His absence would surely be felt but his legacy is in the DNA of this team's culture and that isn't going anywhere as long as McVay is HC.
