conspiracy devotees that are rams fans, and fans of anyone playing the patriots, can rest assured that the rams will take home the super bowl 53 lombardi trophy, thanks to john parry crewing the big show!

the rams own a perfect 7-0 record in games parry has crewed, while the patriots own a much less impressive record of 9-5 (which also happens to include the patriots 2011 super bowl loss to the giants), can parry deal or what?

improbably the rams managed to avoid the fix in the championship round, crewed by known rams hater and saboteur bill vinovich, who had seen to it that the rams were 0-8 under his watch prior to last weekend (actually the rams were 2-10 in games crewed by vinovich, but let's not let that get in the way of a good story!).

so how did the rams swing it? how did the rams escape the clutches of new orleans and vinovich with a win? simple - a handful of rams fans started a petition that put the nfl on notice, that exposed their shenanigans, and as a result word was sent down from league office that this one goes to the rams.

hopefully patriots fans won't get wind of this and start their own petition exposing parry, or it could certainly result in the same league directive, but this time in favor of brady and company.

It's more likely that the bad press could have caused Goodell to tell Vinovich's crew to not make a game deciding call that would eliminate the Rams. So the safe bet was to make very few calls at all. They missed Goff getting face masked attempting to run into the end zone, which would have given the Rams the ball at the 1 with a new set of downs, which likely ends in a Ram lead 24-20, before the Saints drive and the non call on he pass interference. They ignored several delay of game penalties by the Saints. They clearly weren't making many calls at all.

I doubt either team or conspiracy believing fans have any worries with Parry.

I have always contended that the NFL choosing Superbowl teams or outcomes is not consistent from year to year. In many years there is nothing to be gained by it. And also that there is a definite possibility that refs fixing games for Vegas could also be a reason for some of the apparent referee bias.

The Rams were penalized 7 times in the game, New Orleans only 3
Not sure how that favors the Rams
