here's a look at the above info with a few extras thrown in, including projected 2018 qbs and 2017 rankings in offensive points scored, offensive points allowed, point differential, and overall ranking for the aforementioned...

> not surprisingly, most teams at the bottom of the odds list have stiffs at qb while those at the top have quality qbs.

> the power of a qb: the 49ers and texans ranked so high, a clear indication of what many think they have at qb.

> still scratching my head over the raiders complete collapse in 2017, despite carr starting 15 games, they went from 6th in offensive scoring in 2016 to 22nd in 2017, from 12 wins to 6.

> the redskins way down the list is interesting given the year alex smith had in 2017, given how consistently he's played...

So they actually think the 49ers are better than the Jags, Falcons and Saints? I really don't know if Jimmy GQ is all that. Maybe. Maybe not. But I'm not sold on their defense. He's gonna have to light it up a lot if they're gonna have a winning season. I'm not sold on their run game either. McKinnon has been a 3rd down back. Not a feature back. We'll see how that pans out.

Yeah, I don't know what happened to the Raiders offense. They had a couple good receivers. Carr's still a good quarterback. I gotta think coaching. They should be better under Gruden.

I never understood why Smith never gets respect. He was playing very good under Harbaugh but wasn't even in their long term plans. Woulda made the Superbowl if it wasn't for that late fumble. Played well in KC but they drafted Mahomes and obviously named him the starter by trading Smith. An unknown over a proven commodity. I honestly think he'll come close to what Cousins did in Washington. Maybe he's not as much a playmaker but can still make plays and doesn't turn it over much. I honestly think he woulda been a better fit in Minnesota than Cousins.

Ramswire posted an article with all our opponents ESPN writers predicting each game with the Rams. According to their predictions the Rams would go 14-2 losing only to the 49ers and Eagles. Waggoner has the Rams beating the whiners in the finale. Or course that would be if its not a throw away game like the last one.

Predicting every game on the Rams' 2018 schedule: Is 12-4 attainable?
By: Cameron DaSilva | April 20, 2018

The full 2018 regular season schedule was revealed by the NFL on Thursday night, and to no one’s surprise, the Los Angeles Rams have one of the toughest slates of games of any team.

Not only will they face the Packers, Eagles and Vikings, but the Rams will play five prime-time games in 2018, including a trip to Mexico City. Predicting games in April – especially before the draft – is difficult to do because so much will change, but we’ve taken on the task of picking winners for every matchup.

Here’s how we see the Rams finishing the 2018 season.

Week 1 at Oakland Raiders (MNF) | Monday, Sept. 10 at 10:20 p.m.

Despite having to go on the road for a rare 7:20 p.m. start on the West Coast, this is a very winnable game for the Rams. Not only do they have the far better roster on paper, but this will be Jon Gruden’s first game back on the sideline in a decade. That’s not to say he’ll forget how to coach, but adapting to the new NFL might take some getting used to for him.

The Rams open with a commanding victory over Sean McVay’s former mentor.
Prediction: Win | 1-0

Week 2 vs. Arizona Cardinals | Sunday, Sept. 16 at 4:05 p.m.

Another favorable matchup for the Rams to start the year. Sam Bradford is likely to be under center for this one, but there’s a chance someone like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson is drafted by Arizona next week and takes the reins in camp. Regardless of who’s throwing passes for the Cardinals, the Rams should come away with a win.
Prediction: Win | 2-0

Week 3 vs. Los Angeles Chargers | Sunday, Sept. 23 at 4:05 p.m.

The “Fight for L.A.” makes its regular season debut with both teams now in Los Angeles. The Chargers were an underrated team last season after finishing 9-7, putting together a dominant defense thanks to Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. It’ll be the Rams’ toughest test yet, but they steal the first L.A. showdown.
Prediction: Win | 3-0

Week 4 vs. Minnesota Vikings (TNF) | Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8:20 p.m.

Here’s where things get difficult for Los Angeles. Not only are the Vikings one of the best teams in the NFL, but this game comes on a short week. It’ll have the same effect on both teams, but McVay will have less time to game plan against the Vikings’ dominant defense. Ultimately, the Rams drop this one in a hard-fought battle with Kirk Cousins’ new team.
Prediction: Loss | 3-1

Week 5 at Seattle Seahawks | Sunday, Oct. 7 at 4:25 p.m.

Playing in Seattle is never an easy task, but these Seahawks don’t look nearly as threatening as they once did. There’s still plenty of uncertainty on defense with Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor and Cliff Avril all uncertain moving forward, so the Rams have a clear advantage on paper. Seattle’s home-field advantage will be tough as always, but Jared Goff gets it done at CenturyLink Field this time.
Prediction: Win | 4-1

Week 6 at Denver Broncos | Sunday, Oct. 14 at 4:05 p.m.

Josh Allen? Baker Mayfield? Paxton Lynch? Tim Tebow? No one really knows who will start at quarterback for the Broncos next season, which puts them in a difficult spot. Aqib Talib will be fired up for this revenge game, resulting in 14 interceptions, six of which he returns for touchdowns.
No, not really, but the Rams are still going to win this game, and without much difficulty.
Prediction: Win | 5-1

Week 7 at San Francisco 49ers (SNF) | Sunday Oct. 21 at 8:20 p.m.

There’s a lot of hype surrounding this matchup, especially with Jimmy Garoppolo and Richard Sherman heading the offense and defense. A third straight road game for the Rams, and although it isn’t a long trip, it’s still a third week away from home. This is a difficult game for Los Angeles given the schedule leading up to it, leading the 49ers to come away with a win.
Prediction: Loss | 5-2

Week 8 vs. Green Bay Packers | Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4:25 p.m.

The Rams return home to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, but playing at the Coliseum won’t make this an easy bout. Los Angeles drops its second straight game against an elite quarterback in what’s certain to be a fun shootout between Rodgers and Goff.
Prediction: Loss | 5-3

Week 9 at New Orleans Saints | Sunday, Nov. 4 at 4:25 p.m.

Going to New Orleans makes this a favorable game for the Saints, but the Rams handled Drew Brees’ squad last season at the Coliseum. Los Angeles’ defense is far better now than it was last season, too, which will make life far more difficult for Brees and the Saints’ offense.
Prediction: Win | 6-3

Week 10 vs. Seattle Seahawks | Sunday, Nov. 11 at 4:25 p.m.

Having Russell Wilson will keep Seattle in the hunt all season, but overcoming their losses on defense will be too much. Todd Gurley ran all over the Seahawks last season and there’s little reason to believe he can’t do it again at home in 2018. He’ll be the driving force behind this victory.
Prediction: Win | 7-3

Week 11 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (MNF, Mexico City) | Monday, Nov. 19 at 8:15 p.m.

This is one of the most interesting and intriguing games on the schedule. Marcus Peters and Sammy Watkins will square off, while Patrick Mahomes faces a difficult test against the Rams’ defense. Ultimately, Goff’s experience and Los Angeles’ secondary will capitalize on Mahomes’ mistakes, leading the Rams to victory in Mexico City.
Prediction: Win | 8-3

Week 12: Bye
A much-needed week off.

Week 13 at Detroit Lions | Sunday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m.

The start of a fairly favorable two-game road trip, the Rams head to Detroit well-rested and ready to take on the Lions. Detroit could come into this one with a workhorse back like Derrius Guice, which would certainly change things, but the Lions’ offense is just too unbalanced to knock off the Rams.
Prediction: Win | 9-3

Week 14 at Chicago Bears | Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m.

If Mitchell Trubisky has a breakout year the way Carson Wentz and Jared Goff did, then the Bears might surprise a lot of people. They have the offensive weapons in Jordan Howard, Allen Robinson, Tarik Cohen and Taylor Gabriel, but Trubisky is the biggest question mark. Victory for the Rams at Soldier Field.
Prediction: Win | 10-3

Week 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles (SNF) | Sunday, Dec. 16 at 8:20 p.m.

The game everyone’s waiting for, Los Angeles gets a rematch with the Eagles after dropping last year’s matchup. Wentz is almost certain to be healthy by this point in the season, and as good as the Rams’ defense is, the Eagles are one of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL. They beat the Rams for the second straight year.
Prediction: Loss | 10-4

Week 16 vs. Arizona Cardinals | Sunday, Dec. 23 at 4:05 p.m.

The Cardinals aren’t going to be a very good team next season, and with a playoff berth likely on the line for the Rams, don’t expect them to lose this one.
Prediction: Win | 11-4

Week 17 vs. San Francisco 49ers | Sunday, Dec. 30 at 4:25 p.m.

A top candidate to be flexed into the Sunday night slot, this game should have huge implications playoff implications. The Rams will be at home after what’s likely to be a blowout win over the Cardinals, so they’ll be fired up to close out the season against a division rival. They come away with a win over the 49ers in this one, but not by much. San Francisco will prove to be a difficult opponent both here and in Week 7, but the Rams pull away late in the game.
Prediction: Win

Final record: 12-4

I bet on the Rams a month ago when it was +2200.

I put down $300. That’s $6,600 if the Rams win. It’s a steal.
