NFL Trade Rumors won't allow you to copy and paste the article, but it said that signing him to a contract won't impact a team's 2019 comp. picks because he was released this offseason.

It sounds like he's not going to decide within the next few days.

so the rams sign suh and get an rg3-like deal for donald, i.e. an additional 2nd rounder in 2018, an additional 1st, 3rd and 5th rounder in 2019 and an additional 1st rounder in 2020 (total: and additional two 1st rounders, an additional 2nd rounder, an additional 3rd rounder and an additional 5th rounder over the next 3 years) - are you on board? how about a deal that nets less, 2 first rounders?

I am very much on the "pay AD" bandwagon.

It's an eerie thing to see, that we Rams fans are so unused to talent, both before and after the GSOT exception, that when they get some, all we can think of is how to get rid of it. 8-) (Kidding around but there's a point in there.)

The way I calculate it, AD is not going to be the cap burden some fear for the simple reason that AD is worth any other 2 less "generational" level defenders. So instead of 10 players in your top 60% you have 9, but 9 with the same effect as 10.

Plus he worked his tail off doing things the right way and, according to the swap AD for Suh theory, the Rams message to that is no, we're going to replace you with an older guy more past his prime who was probably let go from Miami at least partly because of "culture" issues?

NFL Rumors: Dolphins To Release Ndamukong Suh As Part Of ‘Culture Change’

https://nesn.com/2018/03/nfl-rumors-dol ... re-change/

the move is part of a “culture change” in Miami, the latest in a growing line of big-name departures from the Dolphins. The team traded running back Jay Ajayi during the 2017 season, and just last week agreed to a trade sending wide receiver Jarvis Landry to the Cleveland Browns.

1. He will like the Rams changes of reaching SB
2. He will like playing for Wade and along side Donald
3. He will like playing on natural grass
4. He will like the positive media coverage in the LA market

1. Can we afford what he may want to be paid?
2. Will he except the role expected of him in this defense?
