As Elvis eluded to ... and as Aneas1 has previously eluded to ... the Strength of Schedule has nothing to do with actual "playoff teams" or "winning teams" ... usually there is a correlation ... but not really a causation.

The strength of schedule is based on the WINS/LOSSES of the opposing teams.... and not now many of them made the playoffs, etc.

Bottom line ...

The PLAYOFF teams the Rams face next season are much better teams than the PLAYOFF teams that the Raiders will face in 2018.

The NON-WINNING teams that the Rams face next season are much better teams than the NON-WINNING teams that the Raiders will face in 2018.

(The non-playoff winning teams faced are the same for both the Rams and the Raiders)

All he has to do is sing the offer and refuse to negotiate a contract with other teams and Washington is screwed, though Cousins probably has other plans for next year...

Me too.

Tagging Watkins would be more than he is worth based on the not so distant past IMO.

But believe he could be worth tagging type of money. Just not right now.

True but he can make it known he would not negotiate a long term deal, only play for the FT which he already signed. No team would trade for him and Washington would have to eat $34 mil in guaranteed salary all of which counts against the 2018 cap.

Not that this would be in Cousins best interest but he has leverage too, so i don't see Washington taking that kind of risk...
