- the rams are 3.5 point sb faves.

- sb faves own a 36-18 record.

- but in the last 10 yrs sb faves own a record of just 3-6 (parity?).

- prior to that it was 33-12.

- from '70-'79 the sb fave won 10 straight times, longest stretch in sb history.

- there's only been one "pick" in sb history (2014, nwe/sea).

- the '94 niners were the biggest sb faves in history, favored by 19 points, they beat the chargers 49-26 and covered.

- the '68 jets own the biggest upset in sb history, they beat the 18 point favored colts.

- 14 teams have been favored to win the sb by double digits (10 points or more) - 5 of those teams lost, 9 won.

Hard to see any long term trends. In the last ten years more underdogs have won. But the favorites won two out of the last three. And three out of the last five. Not sure what to make of it all. Except that its the NFL and the only thing you can count on is that you can't count on anything.
