My favorite Doobie Brothers moment: @1980 while at college in lawrence happened across a couple of friends from my home town of Great Bend. Asked what they were up to. They said they were on the way to a Doobie Brothers concert in Kansas City. I thought for a moment and informed them that the concert wasn't until the next weekend! About a 360 mile round trip!
